Skin — O Body + Wellness
Real skin results require more than a facial.
Clinical skin care requires active ingredients, precise delivery, and a progressive treatment plan. We combine medical-grade modalities with the Ultraceuticals skincare system to build progressive improvement in texture, tone, and skin density over time.
Every treatment begins with a skin assessment. We select and customize based on what your skin actually needs that day. No two visits are identical because no two patients are.
Every treatment on this page is provided at our med spa in Fort Lauderdale.

Skin Treatments in Fort Lauderdale
Our skin treatments are selected and customized at every visit based on what your skin actually needs that day. No two visits are identical because no two patients are. Here is an overview of each modality available at O Body + Wellness in Fort Lauderdale.
Ultraceuticals clinical facials, progressive chemical peels, and PDRN regenerative treatments — each customized for your skin at every visit. Our esthetician and clinical team assess your skin before every session and adjust the protocol based on what your skin needs that day, not what is scheduled.
Precision collagen induction therapy for texture, fine lines, acne scarring, and overall skin regeneration with active serum infusion. Our microneedling protocols are depth-adjusted for each treatment area, and PRP can be added for enhanced repair and recovery. RF microneedling via Morpheus8 is also available for deeper remodeling.
Fractional RF microneedling at up to 4mm depth for non-surgical skin tightening, jowl reduction, and facial contour refinement. Morpheus8 is used when standard microneedling depth is not enough — for laxity, deep texture concerns, and skin quality that goes beyond what topical treatments can address.

What to Expect at a Skin Assessment
Every skin program at O Body + Wellness begins with a skin assessment. Your provider evaluates your skin type, Fitzpatrick scale, active concerns, and prior treatment history before recommending a protocol. Skin that has been over-treated requires a different approach than untreated skin, and we plan accordingly.
We do not apply a fixed menu. Protocols are adjusted based on your skin's condition at each visit. If your skin is sensitized or reacting, we modify the treatment rather than proceeding with what was scheduled. This adaptive approach produces better progressive results over time.
Your first visit can include a treatment or simply an assessment, depending on your goals. Skin assessments are complimentary. Our Fort Lauderdale practice is open Monday through Saturday — book online or call us directly to get started.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between clinical and spa facials?
Clinical facials use medical-grade active ingredients — prescription-strength acids, growth factors, PDRN — at concentrations that produce measurable change in skin structure and texture. Spa facials are primarily relaxation-focused and use cosmetic-grade products that are not strong enough to produce clinical improvement. Our facials fall in the clinical category.
How often should I get a facial or skin treatment?
Frequency depends on your skin type and goals. Most patients schedule facials every 4 to 6 weeks — roughly aligned with the skin's natural renewal cycle. Chemical peels are often done in a series. Morpheus8 and microneedling are typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for a series of 2 to 3 sessions, then maintained annually.
Can skin treatments help with acne scarring?
Yes. Microneedling is particularly effective for acne scarring, and Morpheus8 can address deeper textural changes. Chemical peels help with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The appropriate choice depends on the type and depth of your scarring — your provider will assess this at your consultation.
Is Morpheus8 better than regular microneedling?
They address different depths of concern. Morpheus8 reaches deeper into the dermis and subdermal tissue with radiofrequency energy, making it more appropriate for laxity and significant texture issues. Standard microneedling is effective for surface texture, pore size, and mild scarring without the added recovery. Your provider will recommend the right modality based on your specific concern.
